Bastogne Nuts Barracks

The Bastogne Nuts Barracks are situated near the centre of Bastogne. This is the place where general McAuliffe said his famous words, in reply to the German question if the Americans please could surrender: “Nuts.”
One must know that the Belgium government tried to close this historical place a couple of times. But, it caused so many protest, that the barracks are still open.
